A December letter threatening death to Governor Woodrow Wilson for $5,000 led federal agents to arrest three log hut workers from Ford mine near Wharton Morris county New Jersey. Jacob Dunn Warren Dunn and Seeley Davenport are held on $2,000 bonds as they await a Monday hearing in Newark with Warren Dunn alleging Jacob authored the note. The letter was received at Trenton and opened by Wilsons secretary Joseph Tumulty.

Jap Husband of Eaton Girl Sent Up for Slavery
Denver, Dec. 11. Taro Yamamoto was indicted on two white slavery charges by the Pueblo grand jury, found guilty on one count, and given 90 days in county jail by Federal Judge Lewis. He allegedly took his American wife from Eaton to Cheyenne and then to Denver for immoral purposes. Mrs. Yamamoto defended her husband’s actions with praise and remarked that Japs make fine husbands, claiming they are considerate and do not starve or beat their wives.

Parcels Post Preparations Report for Greeley Post Office
Greeley post office staff prepared for the parcels post set to start January 1 by counting classifying and weighing October and November rural carrier mail. In November each carrier delivered over 1000 pounds. Five carriers carried 56 383 pieces weighing 6 478 pounds. Postmaster D E Gray said Washington approved an allowance for a horse and vehicle to deliver parcels in the city but not until after Christmas.

New Club House Planned for State Teachers College Girls
The State Teachers College girls will gain a new physical education club house costing about 20000 dollars. Bids will be invited soon for construction to start promptly. The red brick and stone building will sit north of the green houses with a 50 by 30 foot club room on the main floor, a basement pool baths showers kitchen and lunch rooms and a gymnasium, plus second floor rooms for the director and chaperone. Denver vaudeville actor sentenced for kidnapping crimes
Edward Vaughn, a Denver vaudeville actor, was found guilty on two counts related to the 10 year old Faci litas Lemport case. Judge Neil F. Graham sentenced him to one to three years on the first count and five to ten years on the second. The girl testified tearfully about the incident at the county court. Vaughn claimed adoption by the mother, and he was connected to a jail break plot and a prior San Quentin sentence.

William Watson, operator of the Sanitary Poultry Farm in East Manatee, Fla. reports a Barred Plymouth Rock hen laying two eggs in a day on alternating days. The bird produced an egg each night or two in a day, prompting Watson to separate the laying hen. He runs a thriving poultry and stock operation with 350 birds, aiming for over 1,000, supplying the southern states. In Barnesville, Dec. 11, a $25 shotgun shells theft at Clayton Lumber Co. remains unsolved after the office door was broken Sunday evening.
