F E Draper a Normal school student walked from Routt county west of Yampa to Boulder a distance no less than 150 miles crossing the Gore range and Continental divide. He did this with two companions and joined by Ray Alexander who rode to Glenwood Springs then planned to meet the others for a return to Greeley.

Shocked residents report the death of Miss Jennie Price at a Denver homeopathic hospital after a criminal operation. Dr. Wilhelmina O Connor a Denver midwife is jailed on charges related to the procedure. Charles E Page superintendent of the Fort Lupton condensed milk factory is held responsible for Price's condition. Miss Price and her sister Ella Price lived at the Page home. Jennie Price was employed at the factory.

Drowned in Grape Vine Ditch Near Greeley
Avender Howard 16, son of Mr and Mrs George Howard, drowned Thursday afternoon in a deep hole of the Grape vine lateral ditch five miles west of Greeley. James L McCarter recovered the body at 6 30 pm after diving. Coroner Macy deemed no inquest necessary and funeral services were held Sunday at 2 pm at the Baptist church in this city.
