The Tribune notes Annie Parrott of Eaton climbing on par with leaders Josie Brubaker and Edna Blunt after two weeks of the free trip contest. Bishop J H Vincent, famed for originating the Chautauqua idea, stayed in Greeley Thursday through Sunday with his brother Dr B T Vincent. He headed to Los Angeles for the church general conference. The M E church hosted his sermon on Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday, Today and Forever. Dr A L Lucas preached Sunday evening and joined relatives of Mrs Kate Hanna in town before continuing to the conference.
The cause of the Saturday night rain and snow storm is attributed to the W R C. It may cost Steve Bradfield $25 as fund drive efforts for the W R C fair faced financial losses. Mrs George D Horne sought $10 from Bradfield and he agreed to increase to 25 if another storm occurs within 48 hours.
Last Sunday Poudre Valley lodge I O O F and Oasis lodge of Rebekah attended church in a body at the Baptist church to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Odd Fellowship. The Rev Henry Clark delivered the sermon.
Beebe Draw lies about twelve miles southeast of Greeley in Weld County and is formed by the Platte Valley Irrigation canal.
