Henry Mello a 46 year old postal worker on his Friday route found an unsealed envelope with 4000 dollars in wash money. He returned it to the post office where Postmaster Norman Salvioro began tracing the owner from checks inside the envelope. The unidentified owner recovered the funds after they had mailed a bank night deposit and dropped the deposit in the mailbox.
