A half million dollar 42 passenger Douglas airliner landed at the Manfelpal airport at 10:10 a.m. on May 25. The ship, built by the Douglas Aircraft Company, was en route from Cheyenne, Wyoming, on a cross country test run. After a noon inspection, Roy Howard piloted the plane which carried a crew of two.
