Young girl near Mead makes a suicide attempt

Lost Index Finger in Saw Accident at Kersey
Arthur Howell of Kersey suffered the loss of the index finger on his left hand in an accident this morning involving a circular saw powered by a gasoline engine. Howell, a member of Groves Howell & Kennedy, was taken to a local drug store where he was dressed. No serious injuries are feared. Mrs. William Taylor hosted a “500” party at her home Tuesday afternoon with fourteen ladies, who enjoyed cards and a nice lunch.

Runaway Mule Team Causes Citywide Fright in Greeley
A pair of mules driven by D H Barber bolted through Greeley, crashing into a post near MacCutcheon’s after four turns.
