Police picked up four drunks last night all doped on Jamaica ginger. The offenders were Dad Stevens Tom Russell William McGraw and Joe Laurens. Russell attacked Officer McGreggor. he was subdued and taken to the station. Fines totaled ten dollars each plus costs. McGraw refused to work for the chain gang. The city plans tougher penalties and extended chain-gang labor under supervisor Walt Leiniger.

Unusual Seine Draws Massive Carp Haul From Boyd Lake
An Loveland scene reports thousands of fish seined daily from Boyd Lake east of Loveland. Hundreds of thousands of fish die for lack of food as about 50 two pound fish are kept while the rest are returned. Thornburg holds a license and camps on the bank with Sanborn’s permission shipping the largest specimens to Denver as mountain trout though they are carp, suckers, and catfish.

Chain Gang Tightens After Railroad Boxcar Fire
Fire department rushed to the railroad yards Sunday at six in the morning to save a boxcar set ablaze by tramps who built a fire inside and fell asleep. A night policeman helped prevent the destruction of the car and the trespassers. The tramps will serve thirty days in the chain gang. Mr and Mrs Hadley visited their brother, Taylor R Hadley, then headed to Spokane.
