Frances Plaster Dies After Operation at City Hospital
Mrs Frances Plaster aged about 38 died at the city hospital Friday noon from heart failure after an operation. Born in Missouri and raised near Fort Collins Colorado, she lived with husband Al Plaster on Eleventh Avenue in Greeley. Surviving are three children aged nine seven and two. Funeral Sunday at 2 30 pm at the Baptist church with Rev Dubber of the Christian church in charge.

A noon picnic and afternoon program marked the Beebe Draw school closing. The day honored the Wentz school, not Beebe Draw proper, with recitations dialogues and songs. Eleven girls performed a fairy drill and Leah Baker gave an excellent solo. Professor Baker and daughter Mabel taught the term. Leah Baker and Jesse Dean received eighth grade diplomas. Costume Party At Camfield Home By Young Club Friends
Miss Vera Wasley and Miss Edn Camfield entertained a party of young club friends at the Camfield home Friday evening. The party included two clubs, the F L C and the D C, with costumes ranging from Japanese and Chinese to Hollanders and fairies. Miss Mar Park, an Indian, won best costume pins. Mrs Blanche Reis won on an alphabetical game. Refreshments were served and all enjoyed a happy evening.

Close Call for a Ball Player in Medical Emergency
James Francis Dudley a Chicago native and former Washington Nationals shortstop was found unconscious in a hall in Greenley. He had undergone appendicitis surgery months earlier and a bowel adhesion caused a dangerous intestinal stricture. Surgeons severed the adhesion and he shows signs of recovery after a near 24 hour delay that could have led to gangrene. Dudley asked for Joe Cantillon and a priest as he regained consciousness.

Miss Lee, English teacher at the high school, displayed a collection of Oriental rugs in room 16 on Friday afternoon and delivered a short lecture on rug types, distinguishing features, and identification. The rugs came from Turkey Persia and Arabia and belonged partly to Miss Lee and others in town. It is said some rugs take twenty five years to weave.
