A dispute over a fifty foot right of way for the Burlington interurban near Lucerne was adjourned from district court and ordered to proceed in federal court in Denver. Union Pacific contractors were actively grading across the land, and sheriff inquiry found no contempt, with the motion to transfer the case denied.

Duel Track Meet Set Between Greeley and Normal High
Dwight Mc Kenny of Greeley High won the rough race though Normal missed a competitor to be eligible. Kyle of Normal placed second but was ineligible since he belonged to Normal proper. A regular track meet is planned for April 17 on Normal grounds with hammer throw to high jump and relays. Boy fined for reckless riding after running into child
William Reibe eight years old, son of Aleck Reibe, was fined five dollars and costs by Police Magistrate Davis for reckless riding after his horse struck a nine year old girl on Fast Tenth street in Russian town. Witnesses said the boy appeared to ride close to the pedestrian, but the boy claimed he steered to pass as the girl jumped forward. The injured girl broke bones in the back of her hand and one finger and suffered bruises.
