Mitiry Construction of Los Angeles offered 2 120 340 to build the Carter Lake pressure tunnel. Winstr ow Brothers of Monrovia California submitted 1 195 220 as the next low bid. Estimated advance cost by engineers was 440 420 with a review of awards expected in weeks. If awarded, work would begin in about 20 days and finish within 600 calendar days. The line will run from the Milles West of Loveland to connect the Flatiron power and storage plants at Carter Lake reservoir.
