Mrs William Kittley, 23, wife of a local farmer three miles north of Longmont, killed herself with carbolic acid while two children aged one and three were in the house. Husband heard her scream and Dr Dillingham arrived too late. Coroner Macy took charge. no inquest planned.

News of the death of Mrs Jessie McNee Brown wife of Parl Brown occurred at her home in Blairsburg Iowa on Wednesday June 16. She taught in local schools after graduating from Greeley high School in 1900 and the Normal in 1902. She is survived by her husband.

Arrest in Weld County Land Sale Case

Bruce Bowles near Keenesburg arrested on a charge of selling government land to Pink Murray for 600 dollars. Bowles pleaded not guilty and was bound over to district court in 500 dollars, with a July 5 set date. Authorities allege similar sales by Regigg and others, claiming relinquishments were promised for payment in horses and farm implements.
