Windsor Opens New Public Library With Reception

Windsor celebrates the opening of its new public library building with a Thursday reception. The oak fronted structure houses nearly 4000 volumes across fiction, reference, literature, art, music, and technology, plus a large children’s and youth section. Local clubs, the Windsor Woman’s Club, and the Garden Club contributed, while the Windsor Board of Education provided the remodeled school building and $900 for the project aided by a government loan. Despite heavy rain, the event drew guests and will showcase book displays through patron visits.
