Connie Dennis five, daughter of Mr and Mrs Carl Dennis of 15 Tenth Street, died after being struck by a 1918 Plymouth driven by Theodore Schumacher, 52, of 1409 Tenth Street, in front of her home. Schumacher stopped after the impact, the car traveling at a glow speed, the girl later dying at Weld County General Hospital.

Andy Epple Dies at 78 After Ill Health in Weld County
Andy Epple 78 a farmer long active in Greenley vegetable production died Wednesday night at Weld County General Hospital after six days there and months of illness. Born May 10 1871 in Hull Indiana he married Blanche Haskins in Denver February 7 192. He lived in Greenley since 1966 led a large scale market garden and was known for vegetable expertise. He belonged to First Christian church Greenley Elks Lodge and Knights of Pythias. Survived by widow a foster daughter Alice Holmes and brother Martin Epple of Independence Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 30 20 o'clock at Adamson Memorial Chapel with interment at Linn Grove.

Prominent local dentist Dr Joseph Otoupalik died Thursday at Weld County General Hospital after a long residency in Greeley since 1898. Born in Prague in 1876, he practiced dentistry here since 1910 and was married to Hilma Ekstrom. the couple celebrated their 56th anniversary this year. Surviving are his wife, three children, four grandchildren, and two sisters. Funeral services are set for Saturday at Macy's drawing room with a 2 PM service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
