Vice President Ononar outlined a plan reported Friday to empower local communities with control over WPA funds. Delivery Truck Kills Denver Resident in City Crash

The death of 70 year old Kenry Meisel at 220 Tremont mace, Denver, followed a collision with a car driven by Jack Sliver of 1020 Madison Street. Meisel died at hospital after skull fractures and other injuries. Sliver, charged with reckless driving, is to appear in police court January 4. Police said skid marks measured 61 feet. Puritan Beer License Renewal Denied by County Board

County commissioners will not renew the Puritan 3.2 beer license located near Puritan nine northwestern Well county. The license expires January 13 after previous revocation of Maple for selling hard liquor without a tax permit.
