Frederick's Second Fatal Mine Accident
Frederick, Dec. 19. The second fatal accident in local mines occurred Sunday at 3 PM when Charles Higgins fell from a motor car in the Ball mine, one mile west, and died at 8 PM. Higgins, about 35, was riding atop the coal hauler and was dragged after being thrown by timberwork. Coroner Macy investigates.
