Greeley Pledges Effort on Drainage Problem
City Manager Jack Huffman told Evans officials that Greeley will address a drainage issue on S. 17th Avenue. Evans had complained a 42 inch tile and a planned retention pond threaten their security. Greeley budgets 60 000 dollars for a detention pond and 55 000 for outfall work, seeking Evans match to complete a satisfactory outfall to the South Platte River. Huffman said final design may change and cooperation with Evans continues into 1974.
