The Colorado Telephone Company has acquired the Rankin property at Tenth Avenue and Tenth Street for a new 75 by 190 foot site. A $25,000 brick building 2 to 3 stories high will house a 2000 line switchboard with eventual capacity for 9000 lines. The project includes extensive underground conduits and an outside cable plant costing about $60,000 in Greeley and surrounding Eaton and Windsor, with total district expenditure around $125,000 in 1910.
