Gravity Iowa 1881 town site rush and early deeds

In 1881 Gravity Iowa surveyors set compasses and drove stakes as business and residence lots filled the town. Builders and merchants arrived, a Union depot was envisioned, and early residents prepared for rail connections. First wells, drugs, and post office routines emerged while meetings planned a Christian church.
