Armistice terms signed by Germany ends hostilities

Washington reports Germany signed armistice terms at 2 45 am with hostilities due to cease at 11 am Paris time. Terms include withdrawal of German forces from France Belgium and Alsace Lorraine, disarmament of ships, occupation of naval bases, release of prisoners, and demobilization of the army under Allied supervision. Courier took 47 hours to reach Berlin, decision possibly made there. White House to announce later.

Cancellation of Draft Calls After Armistice Signin

Washington announc negates all army draft orders in effect for over 300000 men. Urgent telegrams directed 252000 men to entrain between today and Friday to halt movement immediately. Some boards already sent men toward camps before receiving halt notice.
