Grass Range to Have Movie House
Grass Range plans an up to date movie house to open in early March. A. G. Gillespie and John B. Ritch of the Myrtle Theater in Lewistown signed for shows on Mondays and Fridays with the same film service as the Myrtle. Wires will run from the Charters Delco plant to the building next to the former Crawford’s pool hall to power the machine.

Coo Coo Club Forms at Midway School
Midway School District No 5 reports a new Coo Coo Club with Walter Joslyn as president and Lois Saylor as secretary treasurer. The club has raised funds to purchase a Ruysdael painting The Mill and is holding a spelling contest with a party for ties. A Literary Society held February 13 featured songs readings and debates with the affirmative winning. next topic is whether the tractor is more economical.

Casualty List To Date for American Expeditionary Forces
Washington reports final revised list of old casualties as of February 16. The totals include 34,844 killed in action, 13,960 dead of wounds, 23,738 died of disease, 5,102 died from accident and other causes, and 215,423 wounded in action with over 85 percent returning to duty. Names added include Private Nels Pedersen of Kalamazoo and Howard S. D. and Paul Schmidt.
