Doctor Freed arrived too late, death likely due to weak heart and exertion. Relatives in St Paul notified, remains sent to Lewistown, bereaved husband and children cared for by Dr and Mrs Bryant. Local Odd Fellows provide aid and funeral held at Creel's Chapel with community sympathy expressed by The Review.
