A sick girl is now able to play. Mrs Burrell’s brother badly hurt in Indiana. she and two children travel there. Mr Minner injured by a horse while feeding. he is up and around. Grace Rains injured while playing on sleepers. Sept. 17.

Traverse City visitors attended a funeral for Charley Copeland's baby. Mrs. C. B. Dye and son Paul visited. Ora Osborn from Benton Harbor returned home after a short visit. Bessie Osborn and Clyde Hathaway are visiting relatives. Maud Damon of Buckley and Archie McIntyre of Grawn visited local residents. other relatives and neighbors visited in Monroe Center and nearby areas.

Mrs Brown took her daughter Minnie to Maddle City yesterday where she will teach. Miss Lillian Bernard celebrated her thirteenth birthday with ice cream and cake. Miss Mary Tilman is home from Leland. Florence Bernard will be home from Leland Friday. Mr and Mrs Barth and daughters Antonia and Marie attended church in Leland. Kate Johnson works for Will Steele’s in Northport. A dance occurred in Mr Nelson’s store building Saturday night. Mary Holton returned home from Northport. The Johnsons and Bernards visited North Unity for blackberries, processing over a hundred quarts. War-Sweet and Reve M Pettibone from Good-Harbor visited Bernard’s on Wednesday September 177.

Warne Copeland the youngest child of Charles Copeland died Saturday morning of cholera infantum. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Adventist church with Elder Miller of Traverse City officiating. The Copeland family received community sympathy in this bereavement. Other items note the funeral of Mr and Mrs L Priest's infant son for cholera infantum at Grant church last Saturday afternoon. Mrs Reynold and Mrs Priest traveled from Traverse City to attend. they returned home today. Mrs Copeland from Southern Michigan arrived last week to care for Louise. A. Burrows and family attended the funeral of Mr Faulett in Kingsley. they then planned travels to New York state, Kalamazoo, St Joe, and Chicago in hope of help for Mr Ramsey, ill all summer. William s Ayers is visiting at home for a few days due to the death of his grandfather John Ayers. Mr and Mrs O P Marsh have been ill but are recovering. Mrs Chas Waton and Ward Visited Belaire last week. A near fatal accident occurred Monday night when Mr and Mrs Kossuth Stites were thrown from a buggy by a frightened horse.
