D H Day stockpiles fish for Glen Lake stocking, while Manistee and Missouri arrivals bring visitors. A U S Department of Agriculture survey on D B Day’s 1400 acre birch toplar and oak stand proceeds with D Frothingham Gaie and Yale’s Prof. Record guiding the record. Local residents visit relatives. Calumet area newcomers settle, and Glen Lake hosts a bonfire supper. Fifteen Owosso residents return home from Bibleman’s resort after a two week stay. Paul Gerndt leaves to work in Detroit.
