A. W. Rickerd has bought HW D. Alley’s monument works and moved the stock to his plant, making Rickerd’s facility the sole plant in the city. To handle rising business he plans additions and modern machinery, including a 9 by 28 1/2 foot brick veneer shed, a 60 foot wide work room, a polishing area, motor and air compressor, new gravers and dies, a granite surfacer, heavier tools, heavier air compressor, a new meter, and pneumatic tools.
