Washington May 15 The Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling in a Bucks Stove & Range Co case, finding Chompers Attelell and Frank Morrison officers of the American Federation of Labor guilty of contempt of court in a store boycott. The court said the act was civil contempt and ordered the case dismissed and the matter discontinued.

Carrier Pigeon Found on South Manitou Island
On May 13 at the South Manitou Life Saving Station crew members John Tobin William Wheeler and Nelse Nelson found a carrier pigeon on the station roof with a silver leg band and a message from the steamer Henry Phipps. The note said the card came down in the engine room twelve hours after leaving Chicago and wished safe return home to Arthur Chopper. The bird will depart South Manitou for Chicago after rest and nourishment.

Five Miners Perish in Delaware and Hudson Mine
Five miners died in a Delaware and Hudson Coal Company mine near Wilkesbarre last night from white damp and fire. The bodies were recovered today about 1,000 feet from the accident site and the cause remains unknown.

Firefighters battled a garret blaze at 257 East Tenth Street Saturday at 6 45 PM sparked by the chimney.
