Traverse City Adopts Commission Form of Government

The Traverse City commission government begins with Mayor Straub presenting a broad plan and urging civic cleanliness and fiscal prudence. The new five member system assigns departments to Public Affairs Finance Public Jafety Public Health and Welfare and names rules for budget and city services.
