In the light midweek primary, Frank R. Goodrich defeated Frank Nay in the second ward for the alderman nomination by twelve votes. George W. Lardie beat Charles Deyo in the fourth ward by 21. Ta. K. Cleveland won the fifth ward supervisor race by 26 over D. G. Chandler. Clarence F. Greilick led with 446 votes, followed by G. W. Curtis at 514 and W. D. C. Germaine at 42. Mayor Wilhelm had 148 on the Democratic ticket. Edward Lautner 2 on the Socialist. J. Hobbs, a republican dark horse for board of education in the first ward, earned 51 votes. Charles Broadfoot 64 for supervisor in the first ward. G. Allen Smith appeared as a republican dark horse for constable in the first ward with 24 votes.

Large Inheritance Tax in Williamson Estate Verdict
