At their home on Wednesday February 22 guests celebrated Washington's Birthday with emblematic decorations. Joe Exstine did carpentry for Joe Stanek while Mrs Helen Willett and Cecil Read visited Mrs Dr Kroupa. The evening featured progressive Pedro and a beef steak supper with multiple sides and coffee. A miniature cherry tree with a hatchet centered the table, napkins bore the national capital image, and place cards showed the American flag. After a hatchet hunt the host finished the night with alcohol? The party wound down in the early hours as guests departed.
