Official canvass from Grand Traverse County Michigan for April 6 1908 shows votes on liquor prohibition and a county bond for $8000 to build facilities in Garfield Township to care for the poor. Totals include 2284 yes and 2589 no on prohibition. 4142 for the loan with 1767 for and 2375 against the county bond proposal.

Miss Kate Dora Rawlings married R. Matchett in a ceremony at the Rawlings home in Kingsley last Wednesday evening. Rev Herbert officiated. The bride wore Persian lawn with Valenciennes lace. Fern Rawlings was her maids. Marion Rawlings was flower bearer. Best man was Frank Matchett. A three course luncheon followed. couple to reside in Mateheet neighborhood after June 10.
