Northport Mich January 30 D Buss a pioneer resident died at 4 am age 65. An early Michigan settler he moved to Northport after aiding Chicago steamers with wood supply in the early days. He is survived by a wife two daughters Messrs L and Peter Wurzburg of the county and Lt Buss of Leland. Funeral Wednesday at 2 pm from his residence under Mason lodge auspices.
Mrs. Chris Ross died in Detroit after a fall that injured her mother Mrs. E W Hubbell who accompanied her son Lester. Mrs Hubbell suffered a dislocated collarbone and a severe shoulder fracture and remains in serious condition with age cited. The Hubbells had been visiting Chicago and Detroit with their son Hillie.
Mrs. John McGill died at her Long Lake home Sunday evening after a brief illness following a trip to Traverse City. Born in Ireland in 1842 she came to the United States at 16 and married John McGill 27 years ago. Survived by her husband and six children Thomas Oregon Henry Kate John Frances and Mary all of Long Lake. Funeral from St Francis Church Wednesday at 9 o'clock.

Mrs Barbara Furtch 85 a German born immigrant and wife of Francis Burtsch died Sunday night after nearly twenty years in the city. She leaves three sons Jacob Samuel and Albert with interment set in New York City. A brief service was held at 7 p.m. Monday at 415 South Union Street conducted by Rev D Cochin.
Alden Michigan January 30 Mrs George Suddess died at the home of Leonard Armstrong yesterday afternoon She was an early Antrim county settler from England who lived on the Suddess farm two miles northeast of Alden She was about eighty one years old and attended the Methodist Episcopal church since girlhood Funeral services were held at the M E church Sunday afternoon at 2 oclock
