Fire in factory damages pipes at Petertyl plant
About 10 o clock Tuesday afternoon the fire department was called to the Victor Petertyl factory on Stixe street to extinguish a blaze in the blower pipes carrying sawdust. Pipes were red hot when found. four chemical tanks were used. The fire likely started from a spark hitting a knot in timber. Damage was slight due to early discovery.
