Lost Fingers In Mill Honor

Lost fingers in a Hayes bridge saw mill accident injure farmer Charles Nostrandt. Four fingers of his right hand were severed and his thumb mangled but no danger is expected. Woman's Auxiliary Fifth Group Meeting Held at Grace Church

The annual meeting of the fifth group of the Woman's Auxiliary of the diocese of western Michigan took place at Grace Episcopal church on Wednesday December 18. Holy communion opened at 10 20 with an address on missions by Rev Freeman of Manistee. A 11 30 business session named officers led by President Mrs Thomas Smurth Waite with Luncheon at 12 20. Mrs Hume of Muskegon reported Cincinnati funds and a stereopticon lecture on The Growth of Christianity followed by Mrs J L Bailey.
