Mrs Chas Bloom is quite ill and many residents such as Dro Fralick and daughter Miss Orphin visited Traverse City last week. Revival services at Long Lake were aided by Orville Chance and Miss Flora Bellinger returned to Ludington after a visit. Numerous local visits and church events fill the week with services at the Friends church and a Sunday schedule. Swastika club of Mabel hosted an oyster supper with out of town guests Mr and Mrs Geo Tray and son Harry of Traverse City, a menu of oysters, fried chicken and desserts, and music by Mrs Pray. Congregational church held an annual noon dinner with thirty-two attendees. Others sent updates on horticultural meetings, visits, and a charity bazaar raising funds.
