Mrs Frank Rogers called on neighbors last week and may visit again. Miss Rekah Wilson will work for Mrs Dave Graham again this week. Mr and Mrs Wm Bates and three sons attended a wild west show in Traverse City on Monday. A cemetery cleaning meeting and basket picnic in Mr Bayles orchard is planned for Thursday the 27th of August. all interested should come and bring tools. Mrs Laura Bates visited her daughters at Traverse City and Five Mile Corners east of Snyrae City, returning Tuesday. Smith Lewis’s two sons from Yuba are visiting their uncle and aunt here. Ed Gray bought a new team. Mrs Alta Lewis and children and Mrs L B Bates and the Gray children pick beans for Mrs W Q Clark. Messrs Ellis Rayle and Silas Gray hauled pine roots for kindling wood from Dr Shilliday’s place. Clifford Hyssel of Thompsonville and Mrs Leona Rushlow of Traverse City were married on Aug 15. We wish them joy. Little Pearl Rushow and Roy live with their mother Mrs Clifford Hyssel in Traverse City. Mrs Willie Nelson of Traverse City visited Mr and Mrs NLD Nelson here last weekend.
