Indians edges ColmesneiI in seventh for 6-3 regional win
Grand Saline Indians beat Colmesweil 6-3 in Lufkin after a seventh inning rally sparked by an error and a steal of home by runner Randy Morgan. Pitcher John Scott went the distance in both wins, improving to 7-2, as the Tribe advance toward the regional finals against Elysian Fields. The teams split a doubleheader with Kilgore earlier, and Grand Saline sits 24-3 heading to Marshall and Lindale for two playoff games.
