Robinson died at his son N H Robinsons home after a period of declining health He was born in Vermont in 1826 and was 82 at death He lived in Grand Rapids Wisconsin for forty years and was active in scientific and community affairs The funeral was held Tuesday at the Methodist church He leaves a son N H Robinson and daughters Mrs A A Chapman and Mrs Jank Albert plus relatives visiting from Seymour Port Edwards and Buffalo and others attending a Belgian relief knitting gathering

France reports Lieut. George Crowns of Nekooosa missing for some time. He may be prisoner of Germans. Webster’s James Corcoran spent days in the city this week and noted crops along the road look fine though corn in his country ahead by several weeks.

Schueler, tried in Man Chive before Gay United States district court, received two years in Fort Leavenworth prison for espionage remarks. Deadona from Pope Edwards was sentenced to six weeks for similar acts. Mrs Luny Gebert from Milwaukee, linked to President Wilson, was fined 500 dollars. all actions tied to beliefs deemed unaffordable by the court.
The Vesper Pioneer, founded by Migs Kite Tronevelt, ceases operations after years of publication. High commodity prices and wartime conditions are cited as the cause. With two papers existing in Vesper, survival was notable, and one likely will continue to handle remaining business.
