Officials say Graham needs better facilities as Wichita Falls and Southern and another road share the current station, and delays were due to office approvals. Young County Shows Big Pickles at State Fair
Dallas reports yard long pickles from Young County cucumbers will be shown at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas October 6 to 15. Mrs. J J Moore of 823 North Jefferson Street will exhibit the unusually long pickles grown on the Wright ranch near Graham. The cucumbers, some over three feet, were softened by boiling salt water and vinegar to curl into jars for pickling. Mrs Moore and Mrs Fannie Howard plan the exhibit in the culinary department.
