Flower Show Named New Fair Feature At Fair
President Walker of the Young County Fair Association has appointed Mrs. E. H. Morrison as director of the Flower Show. Prizes will be awarded on collections of flowers rather than individual entries. Three or more flowers or ferns must be entered to compete. Turkeys Sell for 3.76 Dollars a Dozen in Local Market
Mr. A A Johnson, Graham Hide and Produce Company manager, bought 20 turkeys from D J Hodge of Bryson for 71.28 this week, about 3.56 each. He aims to improve market for local turkey raisers and plans to ship several cars this fall. Johnson also bought and shipped 2100 pounds of hides, aiding farmers in selling their products.

Mr and Mrs B W King and their young son visited relatives in Erath county the first of last week. Heavy rains left their car stuck in the mud and Mrs King drove it home later in the week.
