The Wichita Southern Railway discusses funding a joint Brazos river bridge with Ellis County. The plan would have the railway pay two thirds and the county one third, enabling two bridges with a ten thousand county and twenty thousand railway share for Belknap, and thirty thousand for the South Bend crossing. If Henrietta railroad partners join, a trade may be arranged. County Judge Leg G O. H. McLaren notes the County Farm is to let.
Walter Baty aged 15, son of Mr and Mrs J D Baty, living nine miles east of Graham, killed himself accidentally with a 22 calibre rifle while out hunting last Saturday evening. He left home about 5 o clock with his dog and gun. When he did not return at dark the parents searched, guided by the dog which led to the body. He was shot in the center of the forehead and had been dead some time. The sheriff and justice investigated. remains were brought to Graham and interred at Oak Grove cemetery. The family is highly respected and received widespread sympathy.
Work on the Graham water works plant advances with material on the ground and a road to the summit for hauling the stand pipe iron. Dam work in Salt creek continues though wet conditions hinder progress. Once finished Graham will gain a top quality water system with strong pressure, aided by West Twin Mountain as the standpipe pedestal.

Cook's Pride Coffee is rated best on the market at Stewart and Son's shop. The local retailer touted the brew as superior in aroma and flavor, drawing shoppers to the counter for tastings and weekly specials.
