S R Crawford Provides Free Ride for County Children
Mr S R Crawford president of the Graham Mill and Elevator Co donated the merry go round for one hour at the Young County Fair inviting all children under twelve who had not ridden to ride. Over four hundred children enjoyed the ride and Crawford is noted for feeding the hungry clothing the poor paying hospital bills and buying schoolbooks for distressed families.

The Graham Music Club and the Chautauqua Circle announce a Lyceum series starting Friday October 24 at the High School auditorium. Miss Adams, famed by doughboys in World War I, will perform a monologue that she has delivered 2,000 times. Second Annual Young County Fair Draws Thousands
Fine weather and strong community effort mark the Second Annual Young County Fair closing night. Graham business and farm leaders donated time and funds while rural schools showcased top work. Highlights included a large school parade, community exhibits, a renowned poultry show with 303 birds and 51 exhibitors, a kennel show, and daily horse and auto racing with De Molay Band. Revival Meeting Starts Sunday at First Baptist Graham

Boys Buy Blue Ribbon Heifer At Young County Fair
J T and Chapel Wadley of the Bonk Valley community bought a registered blue ribbon whiteface heifer calf from Tom Corbett at the Young County Fair. The boys saved money from cotton and chose the calf over a horse, expecting a strong show animal next fall if luck remains favorable.
