The Chamber of Commerce raised 150 for the Daughters of the Confederacy to host a banquet for the American Legion on Armistice Day and 138 more for advertising. Boy Lost Near Newcastle Found Safe On Campbell Ranch
A boy about eight years old, son of Everett Morgan, wandered away while his uncle left to fetch a tool. He traveled roughly twenty five miles east then toward Salt creek, was missing from about eleven until sundown, and was found safe on the Campbell ranch above Olney. A large crowd searched the area and the community rejoiced at the discovery.
