Waco Man Credits Tanlac For Dramatic Recovery
William C. Truett watchman for the M. E. T. railroad, living at 121 North Sixth Street, Waco, reports gaining eighteen pounds on Tanlac. He says four years of indigestion, gas, constipation, sciatic rheumatism, nervousness, and fatigue vanished after using Tanlac, and he now sleeps well, eats freely, and feels revitalized. Tanlac is sold in Graham, Oney, Newcastle, Markley, and Loving by local drug firms. On October 7 a Baptist Ladies Missionary Society was organized in Graham with eight members led by Mrs. H. M. Ford.

A Democrat scout viewed the lease from about 100 feet away after the guard allowed entry, noting a 1600 barrel wooden tank, a large earthen tank, and a two foot levee meant to conserve oil if the casing fails.
