Next Tuesday from 10 a m to 4 p m Sheriff Wal lace will sell over one hundred tracts of land and town lots in Young county at the courthouse door in Graham for taxes. Buyers receive a perfect title from the State, with the original owner able to redeem within two years by paying double the sale price. Weather may draw a large crowd as many properties sell for little more than taxes and costs.

Eliasville Man Slays Large Wolf Near Graham
J. H. Williams of Eliasville killed a large wolf about five miles east of Graham last Saturday. He and his family, returning from Bryson with cattle feed, spotted the wolf near the road. After a long chase he shot with a Long Tom, breaking the wolf’s front legs, and then finished it with a head blow.

Mrs J B McGlamery died at her Eliasville home at 5 oclock Tuesday, burial followed at 10 oclock yesterday in Eliasville cemetery. Born May 8 1870 in Tennessee, she had long been in poor health and was well regarded in the Eliasville community.
