Rev Jnc R Nelson preached at the Methodist pulpit in the morning. Rev McMurry gave a fine address titled Why I am a Presbyterian, written for publication. Baptist and Christian services were held as published with good attendance reflecting town religious standing.

J C Bullock a prominent Young County stock farmer died at his home west of town last Tuesday morning and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery at 4 p m yesterday. He was born December 10 1852 in Pike County Missouri and moved to Texas with his parents as a child. He lived in Cedar Hill Ells county Dallas and finally Young County arriving in 1883. He married Margarite Grubbs at age 28 and had seven children five living. He joined the Christian church about eleven years ago and was a faithful member. He leaves a wife and seven children, and the Leader extends sympathy to the sorrowing family.

Mrs Will Dipple a former county resident shot Lee Willace with a .45 Colt revolver. One ball entered the right neck and lung as she said he insulted her. Willace survives but with very poor prospects of recovery. Dipple notified her husband and has many local friends.

Mr and Mrs F M Burkett return from Memphis Texas after attending the funeral of Mrs Burketts Lotty HA Montgomery who died in a sanitarian in Fort Worth They are accompanied home by Mrs Montgomery who will spend time in the city
The Rock Island line replaces the noon Gra ham train with motor cars carrying passengers mail and express. Two cars now run Bridgeport to Waurika Oklahoma and Bridgeport to Gra ham. Each car seats eighty passengers plus baggage and mail. The iron cars are burn proof, with powerful air brakes and two hundred horse power motors enabling rapid stopping and easy ascent of grades.

Old Nancy Hanks completed the Bridgeport round trip and was ready to depart Saturday morning.
R A Dalrymple died of consumption at his East Graham home at 2 oclock this morning after nearly two years of illness. Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove cemetery at 10 tomorrow morning. He leaves a young widow, an aged father, and several brothers and sisters. he was a Baptist and a Mason and active in the community.
