General Election Voter Turnout Reported From County Precincts
The general election last Tuesday saw light turnout with final vote totals to be canvassed by the commissioners court after next Monday. In Graham 297 votes were cast including 35 socialist and two Republican ballots, the rest Democratic largely straight ticket from governor down. The note adds that Republicans gained ground in some northern states since the last general election.

Mrs. Nelson Leaves For Clinton After Visit
Mrs. Nelson departed Friday for her home in Clinton Oklahoma after visiting her daughter Mrs. R. E. Lynes who rode with her as far as Bridport.
Graham High Defeats Jacksboro In Football Bout
Graham High School opened its football season with a 19 to 0 win over Jacksboro. Albert Holt starred as the pivotal back, scoring and intercepting passes while Tackett and Stoffers added touchdowns. The game featured strong Graham defense, no injuries, and was followed by a street carnival and Trade Day events drawing a large crowd.
Primary Department at Baptist Church Calls Rally Absentees

Death of George Walter McPherson
George Walter McPherson three years old son of Mr and Mrs S A McPherson died of dystheria at his aunt Mrs Wat Mayes home in the city at 130 yesterday morning and was buried in the Fish Creek cemetery yesterday afternoon He was taken ill at Fish Creek and brought here for medical care but arrived too late The family extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Boy Hurt by Horse Kick Near Smith Home
