George Kisinger Dies at 80 Former Ranger
Word from Baylor county reports George Kisinger died October 27 at his sister Mrs J M Parkers home. He was 80 and had lived in Palo Pinto Young and Parker counties since 1870. Funeral held at Richland cemetery. Survived by one brother and two sisters. He served in Company B 1st Battalion Texas Rangers from organization until disbanding.

New Company Takes Over Jeffery Well

1,000 BBL Gusher Opens New Field Near Eliasville
A new oil field five miles southwest of Eliasville opened Monday night as the Eliasville Pool Syndicate No 1 well on the Brown ranch’s Douglas survey yielded 1,000 barrels at 3,350 feet with the drill still in the hole. Initial twenty four hour output reached 750 barrels of tankage. gas noted, line connections rushed, and the well may signal a new pool for Young county as industry watchers monitor the result.

Small Blaze At Baggett Residence
