A fragmentary poem-like text extols angels and divine beings. The piece references angels guiding, singing, and blessing, with imagery of flowers, seasons, and a celestial chorus. It evokes Bethlehem and a stormy, uplifting musical invocation.
A drunken Teuton enters the Sherman office and frantically asks to read names of men voted dead. The staff cannot locate any such list while the man fears being shot and proclaims his name. The piece also recounts a Seminole legend explaining white man origins and color, concluding with the white man's tools and intellect as per the Great Spirit tale.

Over $550 was subscribed as citizens pledged relief and transportation to places where they may enjoy full rights. An executive committee was named and a state committee is to be appointed on Thursday.
A polite gentleman asks the boy where Robin son’s drug store is located. The boy replies he has no idea and addresses him as sir. The exchange ends with no locational knowledge given.
