Doubleheader Ball Game July Fourth in Mineral Wells
A July Fourth doubleheader features the Christians and Baptists in the first game and the Presbyterians and Methodists in the second. By special agreement the June 6 date is moved to July 4 with the first game at about three o'clock and the second to follow. All four teams will be seen in one day and Sunday Schools back each squad. District Attorney Dismisses Charge in Oil Field Case
The District Attorney at Breckenridge dismissed the State of Texas vs Otto Kidd of Eliasville for insufficiency of evidence in a case over embezzlement from the Mid-Kansas Oil and Gas Company. Kidd faced trial for two years, bonded last February, and attended every term with witnesses. $68 was the indictment amount. Kidd and family are well known in Graham and this section rejoices at the dismissal.

Touring car accident on Gordon Mountain injures family
A large touring car driven by Robert McJimsey with his wife Mrs. McJimsey, their four year old son, and Mrs. Frank Martin's mother turned over last Friday night on Gordon Mountain. All occupants were badly bruised and bruised but no serious injuries expected. The car suffered severe damage. Ambulance from Graham transported the injured for hospital examination. The family was traveling from Wichita Kansas to Graham to visit McJimsey’s parents.

Mrs Addie Haynes Dies In Oklahoma City
Mrs. Addie Haynes once known as Addie Eddleman died at her Oklahoma City home after a brief illness last Thursday. She is survived by her husband A. B. T. J. Arch, one daughter, and many relatives. Her brothers and relatives traveled to Oklahoma City for the funeral Saturday afternoon. She had not lived here for several years but was remembered by many friends.
