Our New Mill The Graham Milling Company has installed a plant southwest of the Rock Island station in a prominent position. The capacity is said to impress visitors and the plant is up to date with rooms and equipment. Plans are being considered for an electric light plant to be run by mill power.

McKinney and Flint Wed in Morning Ceremony

McKinney and Miss Flint were married Sunday morning at the bride’s parents’ home with Rev. T KE Cannedy officiating. The groom is a Mabry Short & Co. employee and the bride is a Graham belle. They left for their wedding trip and expect to return around July 15.

Picnic at Farmer July Fourth 1907 Barbecue and Ball Game

On July 4 1907 a barbecue and picnic will be held at Farmer. Woodmen of the World and Masonic fraternities provide beef bread and pickles. Morning ball game features county’s best teams. afternoon sees Farmer nine versus the winners. Music by Farmer band. Public installation of Masonic officers. Dramatic Club presents Ten Nights in a Barroom that night.

Six New Iron Bridges Awarded to Champion Contractor

The commissioners court awarded contracts last week for six iron bridges to Mr. Champion, nicknamed the gas pipe bridge man. Bridges will span Salt creek on the Olney Archer City road, Bitter creek, Spring creek on Olney Spring creek road, Brushy on Archer City Jacksboro road, and Flint on both Graham Loving and Graham Farmer roads, totaling about 360000 dollars.
