Messrs Featherstone and Stokes of Henrietta, interests in the Henrietta Southern Railway, discussed in Graham a possible Goose Lake south route via Graham and the Clear Fork valley to Abilene. Six New Iron Bridges Awarded to Champion Contractor
The commissioners court awarded contracts last week for six iron bridges to Mr. Champion, nicknamed the gas pipe bridge man. Bridges will span Salt creek on the Olney Archer City road, Bitter creek, Spring creek on Olney Spring creek road, Brushy on Archer City Jacksboro road, and Flint on both Graham Loving and Graham Farmer roads, totaling about 360000 dollars.
