At a Graham Chamber of Commerce luncheon the plan was announced to offer about seven hundred dollars in cash and pure bred livestock as prizes. The contests reward the best five acre yields in cotton and wheat, the best five acre feed, and top records by women’s clubs. Graham Boy Scouts Plan Growth and Meeting at Baptist Annex
Troop No. 3 of Graham Boy Scouts meet Friday at seven in the Baptist Church Annex. The patrol contest standings will be announced. The troop aims to reach 250 merit badges by April 1 from the current 135. Mr. M. K. Graham granted access to land across Salt Creek for scout use and a swimming hole will be arranged below the dam. Scouts are building houses on the mountainside and thank Mr. Graham for the generous ground.
